StL&H 5593

Second unit on this 486 is StL&H EMD SD40-2 5593, one of a handful of remaining StL&H locomotives remaining on the Canadian Pacific system.  StL&H represents a period of time when CP considered selling off its eastern lines, and even created a separate railroad out of them, but CP has since turned things around -- indeed, even train 486 formerly ran on new acquisition Iowa Chicago & Eastern (now CP subsidiary DME)!  Mark W.
