Marquette Interchange Beam

The I-43 north bridge through the Marquette Interchange was limited to 40 tons recently, and this is why!  The original concrete pillars have been cut off, and replaced with this interesting beam system.  Mark W. Hintz photo, 03/30/05, Milwaukee WI
