North Shore Rails

While getting gas at a Clark station in Kenosha, I was rather surprised to see rails embedded in the street (Roosevelt Road/WIS-50) -- this was once a grade crossing for the Chicago North Shore & Milwaukee interurban!  Sadly, the street has since been repaved, and the rails (as well as some ties still beneath the road) were removed with the new pavement. :(  Mark W.
