Wisconsin & Southern Railroad, in conjunction with Mid-Continent Railway Museum, offered free train rides at the 2nd annual Gandy Dancer Festival, which also featured live bluegrass music in addition to other typical festival fare. This year's festival featured the debut of the Promenade, a new park that will likely be the home of the Gandy Dancer Festival for years to come. (2007's festival was held at Central Park in Madison.)
