Horicon

Horicon is the location of Wisconsin & Southern's hub for its Northern Division (original WSOR).  It is also the location of WSOR's paint shop, which does a high-quality job of painting locomotives and other equipment for WSOR and other railroads, including most of Union Pacific's special paint jobs (see UP 1995 "C&NW").

Also, the nearby Horicon Marsh provides the inspiration for WSOR's logo, as thousands of Canada geese flock to the marsh every year.
