Milwaukee Road class S-3 4-8-4 #261 helped out with the RiverWay 2006 excursions, of which the pair of Chinese QJ 2-10-2 steam engines ("IAIS" 6988 and 7081) were the main stars. In addition to bringing the passenger cars down from the Twin Cities, 261 was the third steam engine in an extremely rare steam triple-header that ran on Iowa Interstate in Illinois. Mark W.
