Leading the way for the local (presumably from Jones Island), battered-looking C&NW bay window caboose 11186 rolls through the cut of Union Pacific's former Chicago & North Western belt line around Milwaukee. With such a well-engineered mainline -- and only one grade crossing in the city of Milwaukee itself -- you wouldn't think that the line would host so few trains. Mark W.
