Independent Locomotive service is a Minnesota-based company that leases low-horsepower locomotives to shortlines and industrial operations. On a regular basis, they send a locomotive to Wisconsin & Southern's paint shop at Horicon, Wisconsin, which applies a long-lasting, high-quality paint job to the equipment that they paint.
